I have always had an interest in photography, and have used 35mm, and medium format equipment. I bought one of the first half decent digital cameras available when they arrived on the scene. It was a Nikon Coolpix 300 which was a VGA (640*480) camera. I moved onto a Coolpix 900, and then a 5M pixel Olympus CZ5050 which is my current main camera. I also use the tiny Pentax Optio S4 which is an amazing camera for its size. The pictures on this site are taken mainly with the Pentax. For macro (close up) work or archive I use the Olympus.

Update Dec 2004, I have sold the Olympus and am looking to get a Nikon D70 when funds allow.

Update 2005, I decided against the D70, and bought an Olympus E300 with 14-45 and 40-150 lenses. After using the standard 14-45 lens for a while I sold it and upgraded to the 14-52 which is a far superior lens.
